The Annual Lighting Up in Crewkerne takes place on Friday, 25th November this year. After months of planning the Crewkerne Christmas Committee is promising "something for everyone".Events kick off at 5.30pm when the Craft Fair opens in Victoria Hall.The ever popular Farmer's Market will be in Falkland Square from 5.30pm
Once again Midwest Radio is supporting the Crewkerne event and will be providing a Roadshow in Market Square and after the lights are switched on we have a special performance by our very special guests (to be announced soon)!
At 6pm judging of the Children's Fancy Dress Competition will take place. Entry is free to children under the age of 10 and entry forms are available now from the Town Hall. Join in the community carol singing with CUDOS from 6.30 onwards before Santa arrives escorted by the Round Table and the majorettes at 7pm to help the Mayor turn on the Christmas Lights. Santa will be in his grotto at the Town Hall from 7.15 to hear your Christmas wishes.
'Special Guest'AJ will also be in attendance performing his set of tunes from 7pm.
