Daffodil Ball

Daffodil Ball

The Black Tie Ball Event of the year!

A date for your diary to put a spring in your step! Whether you like to raise money for a good cause, have an excuse for a new outfit or enjoy a fun night out with friends, what better way to meet those needs than with fine wine, food and entertainment at The Daffodil Ball, on Saturday 25th February at the Guildhall, Chard. Get into the party mood and dance the night away, try your hand at the fun Casino or bid for one of the fantastic lots in our charity auction of promises.
The event will help raise vital funds for St. Margaret’s Hospice. The Daffodil Ball has been organised in memory of Cathie Northcott who sadly passed away in February 2011. During her cancer journey, Cathie and her family were able to directly benefit from the services offered by St Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil. St Margaret's Hospice is your local charity committed to providing specialist palliative care, advice, support and respite to patients and their families living in Somerset and parts of neighbouring counties. Raising money for such a great charity helps ensure this care can continue for other families within the Somerset area!
We're also excited to announce an extra special treat! Steve Carpenter from Midwest radio will be DJ and auctioneer for the evening and we’ll also have a live demonstration and lesson of Salsa from the fantastic Salsa Cascara crew of Mal Cox and Bev Stiling. All wrapped up together, it promises to be an amazing night!
Dress code for the evening is black tie. Tickets cost £40 to include three course dinner, disco, live entertainment, Charity auction and lots more. For further information or ticket enquiries please contact Gemma Duffield or visit www.daffodil-ball.co.uk
