DL Crease Limited was originally established by Dennis Crease in 1961 and bought by Andy and Jill Jackson, friends of the Crease family, in 1989.
The business is now split into electrical contracting for domestic, commercial and industrial customers throughout Somerset & the South West and a shop in Cromwell
Road in Yeovil selling electrical goods and appliances.
Andy is a trained electrician and manages the electrical contracting side of the business as well as providing advice to shop customers while Jill oversees the administration and management of the accounts.
DL Crease is a member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) and the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) which audit its work and ensures all works are of a certifiable standard.
A large part of the business is based on contracting work, from major to minor contracts for shops and offices, industrial sites, local authority and government buildings and agricultural operations throughout the South West.
As well as working on new builds, the company carry out tests & inspections providing customers with detailed reports on the condition of their electrical installations.
They have worked on some major projects such as stately homes, cash centres and banks.
Work includes a full installation and maintenance service for intruder alarms, fire alarms, emergency lighting and electrical installations.
DL Crease Limited prides itself on the quality of the workmanship it's team offers. Most of their staff have been with them for over 10 years and have a wealth of experience. All their electricians are City & Guilds qualified.
