The Rusty Axe can fairly claim to be a unique venue; a light, modern pub with a hint of continental style,
yet retaining a traditional air in its atmosphere and warm welcome. Jonathan, the Chef, takes great pride in
his work, using only the very finest ingredients. All our produce is sourced locally, using the best meat and
vegetables to ensure top quality fare.
The thatched building itself is over 400 years old, with solid oak wooden floors and a light, modern design
making the pub welcoming to its guests - and their pets. A continental-style patio, complete with large
umbrellas, offers the perfect spot for sipping summer drinks; for more ambitious requirements our
newly-refurbished Function Room can take up to 120 guests.
The Rusty Axe is one of those British country pubs you really won't forget. With a carefully selected range
of beers, lager and ciders; excellent wines; and a menu to make top city restaurants envious, we think we've
put together the perfect outing.
Rather than trumpet our own success, though, we'd like one of the partners of Turners,
a Michelin-starred Birmingham restaurant, to do it for us.
