Job Information:

A minimum of 38.75 hours plus overtime. The hours depend on which shift is needed to be filled but it will be Days to begin with then lates, 13.45pm to midnight

Ideally we are looking for someone with engineering experience or has a mechanical background.

Duties will include watching the machinery and be aware of problems arising and be able to act on information given by the machine.

This is not a skilled position but a responsible one. If the person appointed shows a tendency towards this type of work then further training will be provided.

The pay would be in the region of £8.50 per hour depending on present skills and experience.

Job Information: 

Main duties are programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to include programme file maintenance and all associated requirements and to provide initial assessment of manufacturing process where necessary.

The client uses mainly Fanuc but also have Mazatrol controls. They need to have someone who is able to programme/set/operate 2-, 3- and 4-axis lathes doing small batch bespoke orders for aerospace.

Specific guidance and help where required is to be given to less skilled members of staff in order to achieve the expected levels of production.

Other duties to include various tooling and soft-gauging and any other task deemed suitable by a senior authority.

Main responsibility is to follow all company procedures as set out in the Quality Manual and contract of employment and provide guidance and support to all colleagues.

Other responsibilities include carrying out all housekeeping duties to ensure personal workspace and general workshop areas remain clean and tidy, and maintaining a safe working environment.

The chosen candidate must have aerospace experience or similar working to tight tolerances and have done full apprenticeship.

Complete routine payroll tasks including data input and accurate filing or paper work.
1. Accurately inputs pay data into database.
2. Accurately inputs sickness data into database.
3. Files source documents appropriately and in accordance with internal procedures, ensuring that information is readily retrievable to resolve queries.

Job Information:

A minimum of 38.75 hours plus overtime on a Friday. The hours involve working 4 nights, 20:30 to 06:00 on time and a half pay. The pay would be £8.50 per hour dependant on experience.
