Accommodation required for 16 -25 year olds
Mendip YMCA have an exciting new scheme in South Somerset.
Can you help with an exciting new scheme in your area. The scheme aims to assist homeless 16 – 25 year olds access accommodation in a family home for up to 7 night’s bed & breakfast.
Do you have a spare room?
All the young person requires is a safe place to stay with their own bedroom, wash facilities and one hot meal a day. They won’t stay in your home during the day as they will be busy being supported.
This is a very rewarding scheme for both the young people and for host providers, some of whom have been assisting us for years in other areas.
The scheme will pay you £15 per night for providing the service.
