Hope Projects Expand To Sherborne
The Hope Project in North Dorset is where you can meet others to try something new.
With the success of the Hope2Cycle project in Shaftesbury, Shaftesbury & District Carers Association is proud to announce that a new branch of the Project has opened in Sherborne.
Situated just to the left of the Station on South Street (in the old Parcel Office), Hope2Cycle’s new branch has been redecorated by the project’s members and is now ready for the public.
Like all the Hope Projects, Hope2Cycle is a community partnership that promotes the health and wellbeing of those disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the local community. All project members are people trying to get back out into the community, who wish to learn new skills, and want to take those first steps to getting back into employment.
Hope2Cycle teaches its members bicycle repair and restoration, as well as developing personal interaction skills via customer relations.
Why not join in the activities on various days during the week to support a local charity.
The Hope to bake project offers baking cakes and pies together or if you enjoy gardening join Hope to grow and learn and share new skills. To find out more call 01747 851397.
