Promise Works are looking for Volunteers
Promise works is a new charity established to ensure the work that has been carried out over the last 11 years with some of Somerset's most vulnerable young people can continue.
Volunteers will be trained as mentors to work alongside young people aged between 5 and 23 - meeting weekly for an average of 2 hours for a period of 2 years.
Through the friendship which develops you can help them re-evaluate the world, their place in it, recognise their potential, solve problems and reengage with their communities.
It's a huge task but one for which you will receive excellent training and 24 hour ongoing support.
Potential mentors will be subject to an Enhanced CRB check and references will be required.
