Music for Africa 2009
Music for Africa 2009
Music for Africa was founded by Tom Toomey in 1999 with the aim of raising money to put music into the lives of the children of Phokwane, South Africa. Funds raised through these annual concerts enable them to buy instruments, find, train and pay the wages of local music teachers and even help build new classrooms.
The concerts take place outside at Montacute House, Nr Yeovil, Somerset, with kind permission from the National Trust. Tickets are available now - see details below.

Our very own Steve Carpenter is compere for this event!
The event also offers a festival real ale beer tent; belly dancers; bouncy castle; hog roast; raffle; and free parking; plus a range of traditional and ethnic food with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
