Car fire woman was from Shaftesbury
A woman whose body was found in a burning cvar near Sturminster Newton has been identified.
Investigations are continuing after a body was found in a burning car near Sturminster Newton.
The fire brigade made the grim discovery after they extinguished the blaze at Stalbridge Common, near Stalbridge, on Tuesday morning.
Dorset police say it was a 19 year-old Shaftesbury woman and that there are signs it was a tragic accident.
Her name hasn't yet been formally released but her next of kin have been informed.
