Raising drugs awareness

Police have visitied Stanchester School near Yeovil today as part of a forcewide campaign against drug abuse and other issues.

A three-month safety campaign aimed at young people launched today (Tuesday) near Yeovil.

Operation Relentless will see Avon and Somerset police tackling drug problems, bullying and antisocial behaviour.

Officers have been at Stanchester School at Stoke-sub-Hamdon today warning 11 to 16 years olds about the consequences of being found in possession of drugs and how it can affect their career prospects.
