An elderly woman in the Sandringham Road area claims to have been conned out of hundreds of pounds.
The 76 year-old paid 3 men to clear her guttering.
When they finished they asked her for more money to do the roof - she paid them but the work wasn't done.
She's told police they were in a white van and claimed to work for a cleaning company in Martock.
