Keith Male groped a disabled retired woman on a bus in Yeovil on a day in May when he was drunk.
The 75 year-old has 12 previous convictions including 4 for indecently assaulting girls in 2002 for which he was jailed for 15 months.
His sentencing hearing has been adjourned until a later date.
