Pilot's copter fell apart

An air accident report's been published into a Dorset man's death who crashed on his way to Henstridge airfield.

An air accident report into the death of a Dorset pilot has been published.

Brian Errington-Weddle's gyrocopter plummted to the ground near Kington Magna near Gillingham in October 2008.

The retired army major, from Blandford St Mary, was flying to Henstridge airfield.

The report's concluded the copter was travelling so fast its rotar blades tipped backwards and sliced through the tail.

Major Errington-Weddle was 57.
