The two bodies recovered from the Bristol Channel have been named as missing swimmers Lee Tomkins and David Ellams.

Both bodies of the two men who drowned off the Somerset coast have now been recovered and officially identified.

Lee Tomkins and David Ellams, both 34, went for a late night swim last Tuesday in Weston-super-Mare but were taken out by the tide.

Mr Tomkins' body was pulled out of the water off the Welsh coast this week.

A couple of days earlier Mr Ellams was found floating in the sea off Clevedon.
