Residents in part of Chard say they're fed up with disruption caused by building work outside their homes.

A developper says it's had no official complaints about building work in part of Chard despite the story making the local papers.

The town's Mayor claims residents in the Bradfield Way area are fed up with disruption caused by the building of 62 new homes for the elderly there.

Graffiti reading "welcome to Beirut" has appeared on the hoardings around the land.

Yarlington Housing Group, responsible for the work, says it'll gladly respond to any complaints but claims it hasn't had any.
