Matt's Biography

All about Matt...
Born in Somerset on 16th August 1991, Matt always dreamed of being on the radio!
At 14, he bombarded his local radio station with demos and requests for work experience placements. They gave in! Matt became part of the promotions team for Ivel FM. After a few months of handing out car stickers and mugs he was offered a placement working on the breakfast show. This lead onto a full time job as the station administrator.
In June 2008 Ivel FM was sold and Midwest Radio was born. At this time he was given the chance to present a weekend of shows.
After that he was promptly given the Sunday Afternoon shift between 12:00 - 16:00. After spending 5 months on this show an offer for the Midwest Radio evening show soon followed. Then In October 2009 Matt moved to the afternoon shift. Now Matt returns to Evenings between 19:00 - 22:00, Sunday to Thursday.
