Phil's Biography
All about Phil....
Born and bred in Yeovil Somerset and extremely proud of it! Whilst in his final year at school he was asked to complete a job preference form. He did... but was asked into the office immediately and told to remove the first job because he was a 'dreamer'. So Disc jockey was removed with his number two becoming the main focus of a job prospect. He went into Electronics and is still there today! The underlying chance of being on the radio ate away from the time of completing his form....So Mobile Discos started when he was old enough to drive.....Hospital radio was also a weekly program including keeping them on the air with his electronics skills. Local Radio was due to start in Somerset and Dorset and Phil was there with the RSL’s (Potential radio stations doing test transmissions). Ivel FM won the contract and Phil helped promote the launch and was offered a Saturday night program...within a couple of weeks he was moved to the Sunday morning show.
